About Us
Peru Experience is an institution which began its activities in Peru in 2003, offering a comprehensive program of Peruvian culture and aiming to foster a better understanding between Peruvian culture and those visitors who come to Peru from overseas. We work with a group of professionals who will help you learn about, understand and live Peruvian culture, with all its magic and marvelous charm. Peru Experience and its Volunteer in Peru program aim to promote assistance and solidarity with the Peruvian people, offering information and an introduction to the culture, as well as adaptation services that will enable you to take part in a number of social activities that will lead you to a greater knowledge of the country. We will help you to learn Spanish so that you can communicate with local people, as well as offer you the opportunity to work in a children’s hospital, an orphanage and in other fields, including Educational Volunteer, Medical Volunteer, Ecological Volunteer, Fair Trade projects , Indigenous Community Volunteer and many other worthy projects. We have developed social assistance and cultural integration programs in Lima and Cuzco, as well as other Peruvian cities, and the program is directed by Mrs. Lina Lapointe, a Canadian citizen resident in Peru who has a great deal of experience in voluntary service programs both in Peru and her home country.
